 تعد السيدة ليزا-فاطمة أرمورر واحدة من أفضل المحترفين العالميين حيث بدأت مهنتها في قسم التحرير في مجلة “سايكولوجي تودي” قبل أن تتحول إلى مهنة التدريس لمدة سبعة عشر عاما ثم كموظفة غير حكومية حيث عملت في الشركات العالمية المتخصصة في مجال الاذاعة  والاعلام والنشر والتكنولوجيا والقانون وتطوير الخطط والاستراتيجيات والخدمات المجتمعية.

تلقت السيدة ليزا-فاطمة أرمورر تعليمها الرسمي في كل من جامعة جورجيا الوطنية ، كلية سبيلمان، ولايونيفيرسيداد دو بينيتو جواريز ، اواكساكا ، المكسيك ، ومعهد اللغة الاسبانية كويرنافاكا ، المكسيك ، واتحاد الجامعات الامريكية للاطفال وبرنامج جامعة هارفرد الاضافي. وكخريجة في قسم اللغات الحديثة والكلاسيكية في جامعة جورجيا الوطنية ، فقد حصلت السيدة ليزا-فاطمة أرمورر على شهادة البكالوريا في الأعمال العالمية باللغة الاسبانية كما حصلت على شهادة الدراسات العليا في الترجمة والتعليم في الألفية الثانية.

Lisa Fátimah’s unique teaching methodology (The Lisa-Fátimah Holistic Language Teaching Model (TM) or “LFHLTM”), includes elements of Vygotsky and Krashen, while commanding a more holistic, culturally congruent approach (unlike traditional pedagogy  usually lauded within dominant foreign language scholarship).     AHLTM addresses cultural geography as well as the genetic legacy of language and axiology to ground students in the understanding of what is, was, and can be theirs . . .  [From the book “¡JAMBO! Sra. Fátimah is particularly passionate about enriching the lives of girls, and all people who are dismayed, disenfranchised, disconnected, dyslexic, and descendants of the Trail-of-tears and transatlantic middle-passage diasporas.

Lisa Fátimah is determined to provide stimulating, educational enrichment activities that challenge and encourage ALL of our student-achievers to foster respectful, harmonious, bilingual, trilingual and multi-lingual alliances; and she utilizes multi-dimensional stimuli, individualized pacing, recitation, conversation, syntax development, art, drama, music, film and current events to motivate academically challenged and under-motivated students.
 
HERSTORY (vs. HIStory)  * A student of linguistics who understands diverse cultural nuances, social meanings and the contours of class within communiqué, Lisa-Fátimah began her early career in the editorial department at Psychology Today magazine, and converges 17  years in NGOs and the corporate world of print, broadcast media, publishing, fashion, technology, corporate law, patient advocacy, public affairs, policy development and community service.  Ms. Lisa Fátimah has taught the American and IB curriculum in English Language Development, ESOL and Spanish at private, public and independent schools, private organizations and law firms.
 
 
 A former law school administrator, Sra. Fátimah brings a wealth of experience into the classroom.  As a top five co-host candidate of CNN’s former televised town hall program “Talk Back Live,” Executive Producer and Voice of WRFG, 89.3 FM “People’s Calendar,” and a volunteer with WBAI, 99.5 FM Pacifica Radio New York, Lisa Fátimah was dubbed the “Voice of Atlanta” by fellow broadcasters.
 
Prior to starting Milán International School Scholars, Lisa Fátimah was recruited to chair the department of World Languages and join the leadership team.  At SMHS, Ms. Fátimah served as Spanish teacher and International/Media Club Sponsor.  
 
 
Under the leadership of Lisa Fátimah, The International Club at Stone Mountain High School published the “World’s Kitchen Cookbook.”   This comprehensive periodical offered a peek into the dining rooms and kitchens of the international club’s 19 student members from around the world, and into the dining rooms of our nobel peace prize award recipients, President Barack Obama and former President Jimmy Carter. 
 
First Lady Michelle Obama and former First Lady Rosalynn Carter submitted family recipes which are included in this international periodical filled with 220 pages of authentic cultural and intergenerational recipes, global proverbs, didactic and biographical data from around the world.   
 
What is unique about this cookbook is that it underscores  the value of:  empowerment via the kitchen table,  documenting family recipes and passing on traditions, the school as a true village, the commonality of local wisdom, bridging cultural gaps, and important international lessons taught by our students.  “The World’s Kitchen Cookbook” is a learning and teaching tool and believed to be the first of its kind to be published in Georgia and perhaps the nation.

Lisa Fátimah served as Summer Success Program Director under the No Child Left Behind Act for third (3rd) graders in Spanish Harlem, ESOL instructor at GOETHE German Language Institute, and a Spanish teacher at exclusive Brandon Hall school in Dunwoody, Georgia.
